After the election for Mayor of São Paulo, Andrea Matarazzo has a new plan: to run for a seat in the Italian Parliament.

An Italian citizen, businessman and radio host, Andrea Matarazzo has a long history of holding public and administrative positions. In 2012, he was elected city councilor of São Paulo with 117.617 votes. He has served as deputy mayor, secretary of services, secretary of sub-prefectures, secretary of state for energy and culture, minister of communications and Brazilian ambassador to Italy during the government of Fernando Henrique Cardoso.
The election will take place in 2018 and he will certainly compete with two other candidates: Renata Bueno, who received 20 thousand votes, and Fabio Porta, with almost 17 thousand votes, both elected in 2013.
The Supreme Court reaffirmed: citizenship is born with the person.
