We started the trip from Church of Sant'Ignazio di Loyola in Rome, a true Italian Baroque masterpiece, which hides incredible illusionistic effects inside.

Then, we fly to Puglia and more precisely to Lecce, whose Cathedral appears to the visitor with a side elevation, while the main one appears almost hidden. 

Inside, however, the delicate color of the stone Lecce it is flanked by the rich polychromy of the marble of the altars and balustrades.

No less important is the majestic cathedral of Noto, in Sicilia, whose late baroque facade was made of soft limestone with a neoclassical note.

Definitely particular is the Church of Santissima Annunziata, in Vico Equense, which has a unique panoramic position, embracing the Gulf of Naples. About 90 meters above sea level. 

Inside, among the works present, the screen over the arch, which represents the Annunciation by the painter Giuseppe Bonito, as well as the funerary monument of Bishop Giovanni Cimmino.

We head to Tuscany and more precisely to Siena, whose Cathedral is full of treasures signed by Donatello, Pisano and Michelangelo, but also frescoes by the famous Pinturicchio. 

Furthermore, the Cathedral is also impressively beautiful, so much so that you only need to admire the exterior to fall in love with it.

Truly fascinating is also the Basilica of Sant'Antonio in Padua, considered one of the greatest masterpieces of art in the world.

In Genoa, however, it is possible to fall in love with the St. Lawrence Cathedral, which has always been the religious, historical and artistic center of the city. 

In fact, it represents the history of the city, since, during the long life of the Republic of Genoa, it was its political and religious center, together with the neighboring Ducal Palace.
