Former Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said on Friday (3) that former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi would be “an excellent president of the Republic”.

Asked what will happen in a few months with the election of a new president of Italy, Salvini replied: “And who knows?”
“I calculated that the new head of state will be elected by 1.009 people, including deputies, senators, senators for life and other delegates from the regions. Of these thousand, those that refer to the center-right area are 450, so I am not missing much,” he explained.
The Supreme Court reaffirmed: citizenship is born with the person.
