Brazilian Douglas Reis Pedroso, who confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend Jéssica Stappazzollo with 27 stab wounds at the end of October, could be sentenced to life imprisonment in Italy. Jéssica Stappazzollo, a 33-year-old Brazilian woman, lived in Castelnuovo del Garda, Italy, and worked in the service industry. A mother of two children—a boy and a girl—from previous relationships, she did not live with the children but maintained constant contact with both.
