Guabiruba City Hall, in the Itajaí Valley, in Santa Catarina, confirmed this Friday (25th) the holding of the Italian Festival, which this year reaches its 9th edition on March 16th, in partnership with the Italian Cultural Association of Guabiruba (Acig).
Mayor Matias Kohler said that the festival values the traditions of Italian immigrants, in addition to attracting audiences from different cities. “This partnership model in which entities organize themselves and propose the idea and the city hall provides support is very important for us, as it involves citizen involvement in the construction and strengthening of culture and tourism in Guabiruba”, he analyzed.

The president of Acig, Marcio Benjamim Colombi, highlighted that the party will include Pisa da Uva, a show with the Paganini Family, an Italian cantina, and cultural presentations. Furthermore, on February 9th, the 2nd Sfilata del Vino will be held. “This is when we parade and distribute wine along the route with a float, carretela del vin, with the aim of publicizing the party in the center of Guabiruba”, he explained.
