The goal is to serve 20 people per day. Official opening of the office will be on December 7th
The Italian Consulate office in Vitória, in Espírito Santo, started providing services this Monday (16) and has already begun producing passports.
Due to the reduced hours on Monday, as employees carry out internal demands, five appointments were made on the first day.
The goal for the next few days is for the site to provide around 20 services daily, with priority for issuing passports – around 7 are in the queue.
The new Italian office (Sportello Consolare, in Italian) is located in Vitória, in the Conilon Building, in Enseada do Suá.
In addition to issuing passports, the consular office also performs services such as issuing visas, civil status updates and authentications.
The official inauguration of the office will be on December 7th, and should be attended by authorities such as the Italian ambassador to Brazil, Francis Azzarello.
