Gravel and Italian cultural ties
The Cascalho neighborhood, a small rural neighborhood in Cordeirópolis, is known for its Italian tradition, coming from immigrants who arrived in the last century, and maintains its cultural heritage.
In 2020, the municipality sealed a sister city agreement with the Italian municipality of Godeba di Sant'Urbano, in the province of Treviso, which is the birthplace of countless families who live in the Cascalho neighborhood.
