Presented at the Cologne Intermot motorcycle show as one of the great attractions of the German fair, the Ducati SuperSport sports car re-emerges in the two-wheel market as one of the Italian manufacturer's bets to achieve success in the 2017 line.
Ducati's new model with sporting appeal comes in two versions: SuperSport (STD) and SuperSport S, offered with a technology package and performance items.
The two versions of the SuperSport are equipped with the powerful 11 cm³ Testastretta 937° two-cylinder engine that develops a power of 113 horsepower at 9.000 rpm and a torque of 9,86 kgm at 6.500 rpm, with 80% of the power regime already available at a low 3.000 rpm.
The gearbox is six-speed with a standard Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up/down electronic management system for competition or sporty performance. The factory package also includes riding modes (Urban, Sport and Touring) and ABS brakes and DTC traction control, among others.
The announced curb weight for the bike is 210 kg (183 kg dry weight) and the fuel tank has a capacity of 16 liters. The recommendation for maintenance intervals for the model is 15 thousand km or annually. The suggested launch price of the Ducati SuperSport starts at 12.990 euros.
