An olive oil produced in the city of Bronte, in the Sicily region, was voted the best in the world in a competition in the United States.
the italian Manfredi Barbera is responsible for the production of the extra virgin olive oil “Natura Viva”, which is carried out at the foot of Mount Etna, the most active volcano in Italy. The organic cultivation of the olives takes place in volcanic soil, at an altitude of around 700 meters.
The product won one of several categories in the Sofia Prize, one of the most prestigious in the gastronomy sector.
“It's a shame we only have 10 thousand bottles, we are trying to distribute the olive oil in small quantities to everyone who requested it. Etna’s supply chain will prepare to increase production and better satisfy market demands,” explained Barbera.
Law 74/2025 is being challenged in the Court of Justice of the European Union. For thousands of descendants, the next step depends on understanding how the new rule has affected each case.
Your case may still have a legal outcome.
