The theme of the parade will feature the saga of Italian immigration as the main theme.
With the purpose of celebrating the harvest and grape harvest in Garibaldi, in Rio Grande do Sul, as well as the legacy left by Italian immigrants, communities in the interior of the municipality jointly organize the Thematic Harvest Closing Parade.
The float will take place on Rua Buarque de Macedo, in the Historic Center, on March 14th, starting at 17pm.
The parade will be made up of 14 communities from the interior of the municipality, ending with the Fenachamp court and an allusion to the Brazilian Sparkling Wine Festival, which represents the entire production chain and identifies Garibaldi as the Capital of Sparkling Wine, totaling the involvement of more than 300 people .
The event also marks the end of the Veraneio da Vindima program, a period in which Garibaldenses and visitors were able to harvest and tread grapes on rural properties in the municipality, have picnics, watch films outdoors, discover gastronomy, among other attractions included in the calendar. .
The theme of the parade will feature the saga of Italian immigration as its main theme. The parade's setting will be the historic Buarque de Macedo, the place where the first Italian immigrants arrived, 145 years ago.
The parade will bring back the story of hope, difficulties and overcoming, from leaving Italy to exploring the region, in addition to the challenge of building a new home.
