The 30th edition of Festitália will be held from June 12 to 22 in Blumenau (SC), at Parque Vila Germânica. The event is part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Italian immigration in Santa Catarina and is promoted by Lira Circolo Italiano di Blumenau, in partnership with the City Hall and the Ministry of Culture.

This year, the festival will take place in two sectors of the park: Spaten Platz, with a tasting buffet served by waiters, and Sector 1, which will offer portions of typical dishes and new recipes.

The program takes place from Thursday to Sunday in the first week (12 to 15) and from Wednesday to Sunday in the second (18 to 22). On Saturdays and Sundays, admission is free until 18 pm.

On Saturday, June 14, a historic parade on XV de Novembro Street will mark the date of the immigrants' arrival in the state. The initiative is part of the official calendar of celebrations, coordinated by the Municipal Secretariat of Culture and Institutional Relations.

“It is a year full of meaning, including the 30th edition of our festival, which for three decades has had the main objective of honoring and celebrating the culture of Italian immigrants,” he says. Mario Tachini, president of Lira Circolo Italiano.
