The last night of the 72nd edition of the Sanremo Festival, Italy's main music competition, recorded last Saturday (5) the event's best average audience since 2000.
The final of the dispute reached a 64,9% share on Italian television, that is, 13,38 million people watched the festival presented by Amadeus.
The first part of the night reached 15,66 million viewers, equivalent to a 62,1% share; The second, 10,15 million, with a share of 72,1%.
The data released by Auditel surpasses the numbers recorded last year, when the last night of the Sanremo Festival had reached an average of 9,97 million viewers, with a 54,4% share, with 13,2 million people (49,9% share) in the first part, and 7,73 million (62,5% share %), in the second.
Furthermore, the average audience is higher since 2000. At the time, the last night of the festival reached 11,47 million viewers (60,6% share).
