The film "God's hand“, by award-winning Italian film director Paolo Sorrentino, was nominated for an Oscar, announced the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, in California, United States, this Tuesday (21).
The coming-of-age film, whose original title in Italian is “It was the hand of God“, is listed among 15 candidates for a nomination in the academy’s best foreign film category.
Confirmation of whether Sorrentino's film will be nominated for an Oscar and whether the 51-year-old Neapolitan director will have a chance to take home one second Oscar It will take place on February 8th.
