According to Sky TG24, Brad Pitt stated in an interview with Esquire magazine that he has started drinking again after seven years of complete sobriety. "I was sober for seven years. Then I started drinking again," said the actor, adding that he now adopts a different approach than in the past. "I can allow myself a few glasses of wine, but I can't overdo it," he declared.
Pitt has spoken publicly about his relationship with alcohol on other occasions. In a 2017 interview with GQ, he said he couldn't remember a single day since college without drinking or using other substances. After his separation from Angelina Jolie, he began the path to sobriety and even attended an Alcoholics Anonymous group for a year and a half, as he told the New York Times in 2019.
