According to the newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, the publication has released a 56-page guide dedicated to the pet economy, seven years after the first edition of the material in May 2019. The guide is divided into major themes: veterinary care, pet health plans, pet store chains, new professions, pet tourism, technology, pet-friendly environment design, and combating abandonment. The publication also addresses changes to the Italian penal code and traffic code related to animals.

The guide documents changes in the relationship between humans and animals over the last few decades. The text quotes researcher Jane Goodall, who died at age 94 at the end of last year, and her statement about dogs: "The dog has a quality that we often lack: unconditional love." (The material...)
