The Italian Ministry of Health has opened another exception for Brazilians or foreigners who are in national territory to enter the country amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Until April 30th, entry will be allowed for anyone going to the country to meet with spouses or partners in a civil union. With this, the new authorization adds to the previous authorizations: the entry of those who reside in Italian territory before February 13 of this year, those who have minor children or travel for urgent reasons expressly described.
The rules for travel remain the same: it will be necessary to present a negative test for the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus before boarding and that it has been carried out within 48 hours at most; carry out a new test to detect the virus at the airport, where possible, or within 48 hours of arrival; and also home isolation for 10 days with a new Covid-19 detection test at the end of the period.
The ban on the entry of Brazilians or people in transit through Brazil was decreed on January 16 and extended several times.
The Supreme Court reaffirmed: citizenship is born with the person.

The decision was justified by the lack of control of cases in the country and also by the emergence of more contagious variants, such as P.1.
According to the latest bulletin from the Ministry of Health, it represented 4% of those infected in Italian territory, but was above 30% in some regions that concentrate more Brazilians. (ANSA).
