“Visit Italy Web Radio” will promote Italian Tourism with multilingual news

To promote tourism, Italy launches web radio

The first international web radio to promote tourism in Italy is born.

Created by ENIT – National Tourism Agency, the “Visit Italy Web Radio” will promote Italian tourism with multilingual news, live coverage with correspondents from 23 countries, podcasts, minute-by-minute updates, themed programs and travel talk shows.

The web radio will also have exclusive interviews with national and international personalities, columns on literature and tourism trends, as well as Italian music.

“It’s a dream to be part of Visit Italy Web Radio. The main objective is to implement the knowledge of Italy through a popular and beloved tool like radio. He crosses time with the ability to reinvent himself. Radio is capable of reaching any place and making a difference, it allows you to close your eyes and dream of being anywhere and experiencing any emotion, like Tourism”, said the director of Enit and creator of the project, Giovanni Bastianelli.

The radio will be the official web radio of the Giro D'Italia 2021, which will take place from May 8 to 30, 2021.

In addition to providing live links, Enit will sign a series of video content that will give visibility to the places touched by the race to promote the Peninsula and sustainability from a cycling perspective, marking a new direction for the sector.

The objective is to transmit the Italian excellence, promote sustainable tourism, expose lesser-known territories and major cities in the country from another angle.

Visit Italy Web Radio can be heard via the player on Italy's official website (Italia.it) and on the website Enit.it, the Apple StoreGoogle PlayHuawei AppGallery, in addition to Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
