Ronaldinho Gaucho, 46 years old, will return to the pitch next season to play for Ravenna, a club that competes in the Italian Serie CWinner of the Ballon d'Or in 2005 and a World Cup champion with the Brazilian national team in 2002, the former star player had ended his career in 2018.
Ravenna's vice-president, Ariedo Braida, confirmed the information to ANSA and described the arrival as an "extraordinary" signing.

“Ronaldinho is a timeless champion. He will be signed by Ravenna and, for a club like ours, this is an extraordinary signing. In the coming days there will be a presentation event for this incredible figure,” declared the director.
Asked about the possibility of the former player of Milan Regarding Barcelona taking the field during his time with the Giallorossi (the team's nickname, referring to their yellow and red colors), Braida did not rule out the possibility.
"We'll see, but it's not ruled out," said the vice-president of the Leoni (lions).
Announcement expected in Miami

The businessman mentioned, Ignazio Cipriani, is the current owner of Ravenna. Braida, in turn, was one of the main people responsible for bringing Ronaldinho to Milan in 2008.
Ronaldinho announced his retirement in 2018, after ending his contract with... Fluminense.
