Frecciarossa high-speed trains "invade" France

The high speed train Frecciarossa, the pride of Italian industry, will help to break national railway monopolies in Europe once and for all.

From Saturday (18), the “red arrow” will connect Paris to Milan, passing through Lyon, Chambéry, Modane and Turin.

The Paris–Lyon line is the French railway company's most profitable SNCF, which operates up to 22 TGVs per day.

the italian company Trenitalia will start the new route with just two daily trips, but this frequency should increase over time, up to five per day.

Tickets are cheaper than SNCF tickets: €29 (around R$185).
