On March 22nd, from 17pm to 23pm, Praça Garibaldi, in Antonio Prado, in Serra Gaúcha, will host the first edition of Vino in Piazza.
The event brings together the region's winemaking tradition with the richness of local culture, with the participation of 14 wineries and 10 food outlets, in addition to a diverse cultural program.
The festival will be held in the historic setting of downtown Antônio Prado, highlighting the wines and sparkling wines of Encosta do Vinho.
The participating wineries are from Antônio Prado, Cotiporã, Guaporé, Ipê, São Valentim do Sul, Serafina Corrêa and Vila Flores.
In terms of gastronomy, the establishments will offer typical dishes paired with local wines. Wine in Piazza integrates the celebrations of 150 years of Italian immigration in Rio Grande do Sul.
Cultural and artistic programming
- Outdoor ambient music with DJ;
- Presentation by tenor Alexandre Borges and pianist Bento Martins;
- Show by the group Rivotrio;
- Performance by violinist Celso Santos;
- Theatrical performance with the duo Mr. and Mrs. of Wine;
- Space dedicated to local crafts;
- Special celebration of the anniversary of the La Montanara program, on Radio Solaris, with the participation of Italian immigrant D. Carmela.

The event is organized by Encosta do Vinho – Serra Gaúcha and the Municipal Government of Antônio Prado, through the Department of Tourism. It also has the support of ASSENOVITI, CIC and CDL of Antônio Prado, Sicredi and Corede Serra.
