The war in Ukraine, images of Kiev buildings devastated by explosions and Putin's words, which even threatened the use of nuclear weapons, stimulated requests for the purchase of anti-nuclear bunkers in Italy.

“Requests for bunkers have been increasing since the start of the Russian offensive,” says Giulio Cavicchioli, owner of Minus Energy, Mantua, a leading company in Italy in the construction of NBC (nuclear-bacteriological-chemical protection) underground shelters.

“We have never seen this frenzy in the search for bunkers. People show a strong emotional impulse”, reports Cavicchioli. According to him, hundreds of calls from interested parties looking for shelter against a possible nuclear attack.

Your company has worked for NATO and the Italian Air Force, and since 2000 has imported shelter construction systems from Switzerland.

It is mainly middle-class citizens who ask for the construction of bunkers, “in particular lawyers”, says the businessman.

Shelters can cost around R$540 | Disclosure

Shelter costs can vary from 60 thousand euros to 90 thousand euros – around R$540 thousand for a space of 30 square meters. “A bunker costs between 2.500 and 3 thousand euros per square meter and the cost includes all the work, from emptying the dirt field to the completed shelter,” says Cavicchioli.

Construction time, on the other hand, is around two months, once authorization has been received from the local municipal council.
