Carmen Miranda Park, in Aterro do Flamengo, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, will host this Saturday (28) and Sunday the Festival Italia NostraThe free event takes place from 11 am to 20 pm and aims to bring the people of Rio de Janeiro closer to culture and... gastronomy of Italy.
The event features around 50 exhibitors, including restaurants, specialty producers, and industry brands. The environment was designed to recreate the convivial atmosphere of Italian celebrations, with leisure options for visitors of all ages.

In terms of gastronomy, the public will find fresh pasta prepared on the spot, traditional desserts, and wines. One of the confirmed highlights is the Casa Due restaurant in Barra de Guaratiba, run by businesswoman Mirella Guida and Italian chef Giuseppe Alagia.
The establishment will serve two main dishes: the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara, finished in a pot of artisanal cheese, and the Penne with Pork Ragù. The recipes use pasta imported from Italy.
Cultural and leisure programming
The festival also offers musical performances and traditional dances, such as the tarantella. According to organizer Ítalo Lourenço, the aim is to combine tradition and entertainment in an open and accessible space.
For children, the venue features inflatable toys such as bouncy castles and slides. Musical performances include Italian jazz shows and classic Italian music throughout the weekend.
On Saturday, the schedule includes a show by Hugo Ardilha at noon and the Jazz Temperado group at 16 pm. On Sunday, singer Fiore performs Italian classics at noon, followed by the Nostra Famiglia Dance Group at 13:30 pm and another performance by Jazz Temperado at 16 pm.
