The song, titled “Silverlines,” was produced by British singer-songwriter and producer Labrinth. The artist shared an enigmatic teaser with the song's name on his social media profile, but did not reveal any details about the production. A recent press release reported that the singer's decision to embark on a solo career "was born out of a need to express a more personal and vulnerable part of himself, a part of him that remains completely unexplored in Maneskin's songwriting."
After the first teasers shared last week, which excited fans around the world, a video was also published in which Damiano mentions this new “very personal” chapter in English.
“I traveled the world to find my voice, only to end up where it all began. My name is Damiano David, and today is the first day of my life,” he concluded.
As a composer, vocalist and unmistakable voice of the Italian band, David has received awards and recognition everywhere, winning praise from the public and critics.
Last week at the MTV VMAs, he said he was “very proud” of his upcoming solo material and promised “a lot of new stuff.”
