Solo Per Due is situated on Italian soil, in Vacone, a small and charming village in the province of RietiVacone, located 68 kilometers north of Rome, is situated in the Lazio region and has approximately 300 inhabitants. Everyone is surely familiar with the famous restaurant—after all, it's the smallest restaurant in the world.
The idea of a place for two
This quaint restaurant came about after a series of unpleasant experiences that Remo, the owner of Solo Per Due, had in several restaurants. He frequented noisy and confusing places, with long queues, where he and his son were placed at small, poorly located tables, close to the bathrooms or the kitchen, simply because there were only two of them.
Tired of being treated like this in the world of gastronomy, Remo decided to change his position and create a space that offered the best possible experience, specifically for two people. This way, a meal would become an unforgettable moment, rather than something to be forgotten.
A romantic and unique space
Solo Per Due was created to provide a special experience, just for couples, where they are pampered and treated like kings and queens. The objective is to offer a welcoming, refined and ideal environment for celebrations of lovers, lovers and spouses.
Birthdays and marriage proposals are the most common events celebrated here, and the restaurant is world-renowned for being the perfect place for romantic, intimate dinners.
The ambience includes a melodious piano, a fireplace to warm hearts in love, candles to increase romanticism and two plush red sofas for enjoying aperitifs and digestifs. The atmosphere is one of pure refinement, with vintage furniture, busts of historical figures, elegant patterns on the tables and fabrics, and robust flowers in every corner of the room.
A charming garden
The exterior of the restaurant is a refined garden with a wonderful view. In summer, the garden blooms and offers a view of the olive grove and the valley of vineyards under the strawberry trees. The garden is unique in that it focuses on one type of tree: the palm tree. It is made up of palm tree species from all over the world, such as the Chinese mill palm, the Martian wind palm, the Canary date palm, the California palm, the Mexican blue palm, among others.
A charming experience
Upon entering Solo Per Due, time seems to stand still. The lights dim, the chandeliers are lit, the music begins, and the patrons are transported to a parallel world where time is suspended, and the magic of the place takes hold of everyone.
Only the couple remains in the room, while the waiter remains discreet and invisible, available only when called through a famous silver bell. Just like in ancient palaces.

The menu includes renowned Italian wines and a careful selection of seasonal gastronomic products, directly from neighboring towns. The secret is in personalization: customers choose the menu in advance. It can include meat, fish, pasta, desserts, delicious cakes, anything you want. There is always artisan bread, local sweets, fresh fruits and vegetables. Abundance is guaranteed and there is everything the couple could want.
For special celebrations, the couple's names can be engraved on the dessert, decorated with hearts, increasing the romanticism.
In addition to the menu, clients choose in advance the music, flowers for floral arrangements, fireworks, airport or hotel transportation, and all the details to make the event perfect and unforgettable.
