Europe distributes 40 free train tickets to 18-year-olds; Click Day opens.

The race has begun for the 40 free train passes offered by the European Union through the program. DiscoverEUThe initiative, part of the Erasmus+ program, allows young people to explore the diversity of Europe, its landscapes and culture using the continental rail network.

Who can participate?

To be eligible for one of the tickets, the applicant must meet the age and residency requirements:

How does the prize work?

Those selected will receive the Discover EU Travel Pass, an Interrail-style ticket that allows you to:

• Traveling for up to 7 days within a period of one month.
• The travel period should occur between July 1, 2026 and September 30, 2027.
• Quota for Italy: They are reserved. 4.994 tickets Specifically for Italian citizens.

Step by step to sign up

Applications are open from today (April 8th) until 12pm on April 22nd.

1. Access the official portal: youth.europa.eu/discovereu_it.
2. Enter the number of your identity document, passport, or residence permit.
3. Answer a multiple choice quiz about the European Union and its initiatives aimed at young people.
4. You can apply alone or in groups of up to 5 people (everyone must meet the age requirements).
