Based on what was published on the Montecitorio, the taxable value declared to the tax authorities for Giorgia Meloni, delivered in 2022 to the Italian Federal Revenue and referring to the total income received between 2021 and 2022, is 160.706 euros – around R$908 thousand (or R$75,7 thousand per month).

According to the Italian press, “as Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni declares that she does not receive any remuneration as Prime Minister”. Its income comes from the Chamber of Deputies.

Giorgia Meloni, therefore, does not receive any compensation related to assuming the position of prime minister, since taking office on October 21, 2022.
