The city of Milan, Italy, will open this week a series of meetings and exhibitions that will bring together works of art confiscated by the police in organized crime.
The aim of local authorities is to raise awareness and inform the public about actions to combat mafia clans and the reuse of assets taken from the control of criminals.
One of the exhibitions will open next Saturday (26) and will show visitors numerous art articles that were in the hands of mobsters.
“We have set ourselves an ambitious goal: to show, through the confiscated assets, the extent to which the mafia phenomenon is rooted in our territories. In addition to highlighting the importance and effectiveness of the work of the authorities,” highlighted Lamberto Bertolé, one of those responsible for the events.
The Supreme Court reaffirmed: citizenship is born with the person.

In another exhibition related to the project, which will open on December 3 at the Palazzo Reale, more than 90 works by important Italian and international artists that were stolen by mafiosos will be displayed.
Next Monday (28), in a theater in the capital of the Lombardy region, more than 500 students from some secondary schools in Milan will participate in a meeting that will focus on the battle of the country's law enforcement forces against the 'ndrangheta. (HANDLE)
