COVID-19 – Hospital in Naples gives oxygen to infected patients in the car, so that they do not occupy beds
Italian authorities revealed on Tuesday (10) that 580 more people died from Covid-19, in addition to 35.098 new infections having been confirmed in the last 24 hours.
The daily death record reflects an increase compared to the previous report, released on Monday, in which 445 people had died in Italy.
The number is the highest recorded in the country since April 14, when 602 deaths were recorded.
Data regarding new infections are also alarming authorities in Italy, whose health system is under great pressure due to the hospitalizations of patients with the new coronavirus.
The Supreme Court reaffirmed: citizenship is born with the person.

Currently, there are patients on the streets, outside hospitals, waiting to be treated, all over Italy.
In Naples, those who are infected, but do not necessarily need to be in a bed, receive oxygen through the car window, through a machine.
The Italian Government must decide, in the coming days, whether or not to extend the lockdown across the country to try to contain the pandemic. The date for the feared decision, as published by the Corriere della Sera, it's the next 15th.
Active cases
The increase in active cases – which disregards cures and deaths – was 2,9% compared to Monday (9) and totaled 16.776 in one day. This means that 590.110 people are currently fighting the disease in Italy.
This Tuesday, what caught a lot of attention was the increase in admissions to intensive care units (ICUs): there were 122 in just 24 hours, totaling 2.971 people admitted to units of this type across the country.
The majority of them are hospitalized in the Lombardy region (708), followed by Piedmont (325), Lazio (257), Tuscany (242) and Emilia-Romagna (215).
