O Consulate General of Italy in São Paulo is committed to strengthening cultural and educational ties between Italy and the state of São Paulo.
The Italian Consul General, Domenico Fornara, and the consulate's school director, Monica Faggionato, met with the Secretary of Education of the São Paulo government, Renato Feder, to discuss strategies that aim to expand the teaching of the Italian language in the state's schools.
The main objective of the meeting was to promote bilateral cooperation and improve the teaching of Italian in educational institutions in São Paulo.
On his social networks, Domenico Fornara stated his commitment to collaborating to improve exchanges in the field of education and teaching the Italian language. “Thank you for the warm welcome, Professor Renato Feder. It will be a pleasure to work together to improve exchanges in the field of education and teaching Italian,” Fornara wrote on the consulate’s social media.

The project is now available for teenagers aged 11 to 15 in public schools in the cities of São Paulo and Jundiaí, promoting the learning of the Italian language and culture.
