Ravasio was run over and killed on August 9, 2024, in Parabiago, in the province of Milan. The crime initially appeared to be a traffic accident, but the Public Prosecutor's Office concluded that Adilma had planned the murder for months to inherit her boyfriend's assets, valued at approximately [amount missing]. three million euros.
The Brazilian woman was the main defendant and had seven accomplices. The group included Marcello Trifone (identified as her husband on paper), Igor Benedito (Adilma's son), and Massimo Ferretti (her former lover), as well as Fabio Oliva, Mirko Piazza, Fabio Lavezzo, and Mohamed Daibi. The Italian court convicted them all.

The Brazilian woman's son, who was driving the vehicle used in the hit-and-run, received a 23-year prison sentence. Ferretti, her former boyfriend, got 24 years. Piazza and Oliva each received 14 years, and Daibi was sentenced to 22 years. Lavezzo and Trifone received the same sentence as Adilma.
Ravasio's family's defense team celebrated the outcome. "We are satisfied with the sentence; we believe it was fair. The sentence reflected the course of the trial, and we are pleased that all eight defendants were found guilty," the lawyers stated.
After Ravasio's death, the Italian Justice system reopened the investigation into the death of Michele Della Malva, the Brazilian woman's ex-husband, which occurred in December 2011. The death was attributed at the time to a heart attack. For the Public Prosecutor's Office, the case may involve poisoning ordered by Adilma.
