A journey from north to south to discover the five UNESCO natural heritage sites
Discover Italy in a way never seen before, with the highest definition possible. That's what made youtuber Alesio Jakidale: a spectacular video from Italy in 8K.
The project is part of the initiative “Travel in 8K: rediscovering Italy in its details”, promoted by Samsung with consumers in the Galaxy s20 ultra.
The contest was held last summer.
Famous for having traveled through Italy scooter and for his various technological adventures, Jakidale chose to show the world natural heritage of humanity present in Italy.
In just over 72 hours, the young man traveled across Italy from north to south, using traditional and private means, including by helicopter, documenting landscapes and treasures of Italian heritage with very different characteristics, from the sea to the mountains, from the forests to the cities.

From north to south in 72 hours
The tour passed through the iconic Monte San Giorgio, shaped like a pyramid, located in the Lombardy region, and then flew from helicopter to Trentino to discover the Dolomites.
From the soft green stripes of the woods and meadows, to the harder lines and more intense colors of the rocky peaks, to the white of the glaciers.
Jakidale then arrived in Rome. train and then moved to four wheels to record the beauties of Abruzzo National Park, in the Lazio and Molise region.
De plane, he proceeded to Sicily to make an excursion to the Mount Etna. The cable car, reached the summit of highest active volcano in Europe, admired its craters and immersed itself in the colors of the beautiful sunset landscape.
The last hours of the tour were dedicated to Aeolian Islands: an archipelago of volcanic islands, fascinating and rich in flora and fauna, with wonderful beaches, coves, caves, coves and hills.
55 UNESCO sites in Italy
Italy, in fact, has 55 UNESCO sites, the majority of cultural or mixed types, and only five of natural types.
With this step the youtuber completed its discovery of the five Italian natural sites included in the list of World Heritage Sites and your race against time.
